N.R.S. 293C.268 – Establishment of polling place for precinct in residential development exclusively for elderly persons
Overview of Statute
This section sets out the conditions under which the city clerk must establish a polling place for a precinct in a residential development exclusively for elderly persons.
Statute
The city clerk shall establish at least one polling place for a precinct in any residential development exclusively for elderly persons if:
1. More than 100 of the residents of the development are registered to vote;
2. There is a common area in the development which is adequate and available; and
3. The owner of the development consents to the establishment of the polling place on his or her property.

The election board officer designated or assigned to make the record of the election in the roster, tally list and challenge list in the precinct, district or polling place in which such officer is appointed.

1. A natural person;
2. Any form of business or social organization;
3. Any nongovernmental legal entity, including, without limitation, a corporation, partnership, association, trust, unincorporated organization, labor union, committee for political action, political party and committee sponsored by a political party; or
4. A government, governmental agency or political subdivision of a government.
