N.R.S. 293B.170 – Sealing and disposition of programs and ballots

Overview of Statute

This section sets out required procedures following the completion of logic and accuracy testing.

Statute

After the completion of the last logic and accuracy test, the programs used, if any, and the logic and accuracy test ballots and the official ballots shall be sealed, retained and disposed of in the manner provided in NRS 293.391 for other ballots.

Definition [Ballot]

The record of a voter’s preference of candidates and questions voted upon at an election. The term includes, without limitation, any paper given to a voter upon which the voter places his or her vote and any electronic storage tapes.
