N.R.S. 293.910 – Limitations on disclosure of confidential information

Overview of Statute

This section sets forth the exceptions to confidentiality for those persons who request their personal information be kept confidential.

Statute

If a person listed in NRS 293.908 requests confidentiality, the confidential information of that person may only be disclosed as provided in NRS 239.0115 or 293.912 or as otherwise specifically authorized by law.

Definition [Person]

1.  A natural person;

2.  Any form of business or social organization;

3.  Any nongovernmental legal entity, including, without limitation, a corporation, partnership, association, trust, unincorporated organization, labor union, committee for political action, political party and committee sponsored by a political party; or

4.  A government, governmental agency or political subdivision of a government.
