N.R.S. 293.297 - Change of vote on certain mechanical recording devices

This section requires the mechanical recording device to allow the voter to change his or her vote.
Statute
A mechanical recording device which directly records votes electronically must allow the voter to change his or her vote before the mechanical recording device permanently records that vote.

1. Definition for Mechanical recording device
A device which mechanically or electronically compiles a total of the number of votes cast for each candidate and for or against each measure voted on.
