§ 101.34 Custody of voting system.
Overview of Statute
This statute states that supervisors of elections are the custodians of the voting systems in their counties. All supervisors have the ability to appoint deputies to prepare and supervise the system, and the supervisor is responsible for paying their compensation.
Statute
The supervisor of elections shall be the custodian of the voting system in the county, and he or she shall appoint deputies necessary to prepare and supervise the voting system prior to and during elections. The compensation for such deputies shall be paid by the supervisor of elections.
